    SilverFabric polarizing filters are made from high-quality optical films to assure
    best polarization contrast and optical transmission. All our polarizer systems use glass windows for beam entry and structural support to achieve high optical quality and thermal stability.

    SilverFabric™ filters are offered with convenient and inexpensive mounting
    accessories
    . The filter holder holds the filter
    firmly in place and allows accurate angular adjustment for best ghost rejection.
    The lens ring is mounted on the projector lens
    and it provides the mechanical interface for
    connecting the filter holder. The lens ring can be
    used for any lens barrels up to 110 mm diameter.

    POL Polarizer
    "High Quality and Affordable"

    The POL polarizer is designed for customers seeking high quality at the best possible price. This polarizing filter is made of a high contrast and transmission polarizing foil deposited on a glass window.
    The polarization contrast is 1350:1, and the transmission is 42.3%.

    POL polarizers can be used with both LCD and DLP projectors.

    POLE Polarizer
    "High Optical Quality and Long Lifetime"

    The POLE polarizer is made of a polarizing film encapsulated between two glass windows. Glass interfaces on both facets improve the optical quality. Sealing the polarizing film from humidity prolongs its lifetime and improves the thermal stability.
    The polarization contrast is 1350:1 and the transmission is 42.3%.
    POLE polarizers can be used with both LCD and DLP projectors.

    POLAR polarizer
    "Best Optical Quality and Transmission"

    The POLAR polarizer combines high-quality optical components to achieve best optical quality, transmission, polarization contrast and lifetime. It is made of a polarizing film encapsulated between two optical glass windows.

    The windows have antireflection coating to improve the optical transmission.

    The polarization contrast is 1350:1 and the transmission is 46%. POLAR polarizers can be used with both LCD and DLP projectors.

     

     

     

    SP Polarizer
    " Revolutionary Technology for Polarization of LCD Projectors"

    The SP polarizer (patent pending) is a sophisticated optical device for polarization of LCD projectors. It is designed to achieve supreme optical efficiency without compromising any other performance characteristic.

    Instead of brutal chopping of the light intensity, the SP filter utilizes the internal polarization properties of LCD projectors light to achieve an amazing optical transmission of 65%. This transmission level is much higher than the theoretical limit of 50%
    that can be achieved by plain polarizers. The polarization contrast is better than 1800:1.

    SP polarizers save you money, because you can use a smaller projector to achieve the same brightness as a larger projector with a conventional polarizer. For example, to achieve 4,000 lumen screen illumination, you need at least 10,000 lumen projector. With SP filter, 4,000 lumen screen illumination can be achieved with a 6,000 lumen projector. With a 10,000 lumen projector equipped with a SP filter, you will achieve a 6,500 lumen illumination on the screen.

    The SP polarizer is also useful for portable systems, were weight and size reduction of the projectors is crucial.

    SP polarizers can be used with LCD projectors only.

    SPAR Polarizer

    Our top of the line SPAR polarizer combines the SP filter technology with AR coated optical glass windows for best optical performance. This filter, designed for most demanding applications, achieves 71% transmission with better than 1000:1 polarization contrast.

    SPAR polarizers can be used with LCD projectors only.

    Base Information:

    So called 'Polarizers' are applied on dual projection displays based on DLP
    or LCD projectors to achieve an immersive perception. Experts call such displays "Passive 3D Displays". Linear or circular polarization are the two main methods to achieve this optical effect.But each method has it's own advantages.

    The main advantage of circular polarizers is that the recipient can tilt their heads without losing the immersive 3D perception. However, plain circular polarizers
    can cause ghosting and color saturation errors which is why we use enhanced methods and high quality materials to induce this both phenomens.

    In comparison to the circular method the linear method gives a likewise better signal blocking . Moreover, linear polarizers are not that exspensive as polarizers based on the circular method. Thus, linear polarizers are the most common application for passive 3D dispalys and we recommend to prefer the linear method whenever possible.
